NOTICE OF ELECTION

The Board of Election Commissioners of Washington County, Arkansas, pursuant to Arkansas election law 6-14-102, does hereby proclaim the Annual School Election will be held in Washington County on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

VOTER REGISTRATION
To check your voter registration go to www.voterview.org. If your voter registration has changed and if you have questions concerning your eligibility to vote please call the County Clerk’s office at 444-1711 prior to Election Day.

A list of appointed election officials and deputy county clerks hired to conduct Early Voting and Election Day voting can be found in the County Clerk’s Office, Room 300, in the Washington County Courthouse. The list will be available August 28, 2017. An objection to his or her service to the Washington County Election Commission shall be in writing and submitted to the Washington County Election Commission or the County Clerk within ten (10) calendar days after the posting of the list. That deadline is September 7, 2017.

The ballot and the election results, when available, may be viewed at www.co.washington.ar.us
Absentee ballots will be opened, and processed beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Room 140 of the Washington County Courthouse on Election Day. The absentee and early ballots will be tabulated beginning at 7:00 p.m. in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse. Election Day Ballots, after the polls close at 7:30, will be counted in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse.

Handicapped persons having problems at the polling site ask supervisor for assistance or call 444-1766.
