Summer Reading Program for children and teens!

The Washington County Library system offers an exciting series of programming for children and teens.  Look below for a list of our upcoming programs!

June 16-July 25, 2014 
Exciting experiments, guest speakers, concerts, prizes and lots of fun will be part of the Summer Reading Program at your library!  You can all become Citizen Scientists this summer!  Join us as we explore nature and discover science all around us.  Library programs are offered without charge and registration is not required.

Farmington Public Library—Mondays at 10:00 a.m. 
West Fork Public Library—Mondays at 1:00 p.m. 
Elkins Public Library—Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. 
Greenland Branch Library—Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. 
Lincoln Public Library—Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. 
Prairie Grove Public Library—Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m.

Winslow Branch Library--Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

Grades 5 and up-Summer Reading Workshops!

 Mystery Solved! Become a Science Detective! 

 If you enjoy science and figuring out mysteries in the natural world, you may want to sign up for our workshop. We will have interesting guest speakers, lots of exciting activities, and snacks. Everyone is invited to go to one of the participating libraries and register for the summer fun. Only 12 participants per library, so sign up soon!
