Licenses & Registrations include records such as Incorporation Records (not-for-profit), Medical Practitioners' Licenses, Military Pension Records and Marriage Licenses, the majority of which are created and maintained by the County Clerk's Office. Licenses & Registrations housed in the Archives include, but are not limited to, the following records:

  • Incorporation Records (Not-for-Profit), 1829-1993
  • Livestock Records (Estray & Brand Records), 1871-1969
  • Marriage Records, 1845-1941
  • Ministers' Credentials, 1845-1886 (filed with Marriage Records)
  • Medical Practiioners' (Druggists, Physicians, Nurses) Licenses, 1879-1969
  • Military Discharge (DD 214) Records, 1918-1991 (record must be 70 years old for public access)
  • Military Pension Records (Confederate & Federal), 1866-1930
  • Naturalization Records, 1829-1934
  • Personal Records (Miscellaneous), 1840-1994
