NOTICE: The Washington County Househould Hazardous Waste Drop-off on 2615 Brink Drive in south Fayetteville will be accepting electronic items from Washington County residents at no cost for two months, starting November 1st and ending December 30th. To qualify, proof of residency is required, which includes a driver’s license or utility bill that lists the residents’ current address. Residents can drop-off electronic items anytime during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and the first Saturday of each month, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

The goal of the Washington County Environmental Affairs & Recycling Office is to:

  • Promote the proper disposal of solid waste
  • Provide assistance for cleaning illegal dumps
  • Enforce stormwater regulations
  • Provide environmental education to all ages of the County
  • Operate special waste drop-off facility for county residents

 Monday - Friday 8 am to 4 pm  Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm         
 First Saturday of each month 8:00 am to noon
