How To Apply With Washington County:

  1. Go to Job Postings Page to view openings.

  2. Fill out an application listing the job you want to apply for. Make sure it is an open position.

  3. Submit your application to Human Resources by dropping it off or faxing it in. We do not accept electronic applications. 

  4. Wait about one week for the department to contact you for an interview. If you have not heard back in a week, contact the department you applied for. 

Washington County is frequently seeking qualified applicants to fill diverse positions within the organization. Open positions are posted daily on the county's Job Postings link, and are also available through the Employment Security Division and in the Human Resource office.  

The Human Resource office accepts applications between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Applications can only be accepted for open positions, and if you are interested in more than one position, a separate application must be submitted for each. You may include a resume with your application, if you wish, but it can not be submitted in lieu of an application. 

Applications for employment with Washington County must be submitted to the Washington County Human Resource Office located at 280 N. College, Suite 510, Fayetteville, Arkansas.  They can be submitted via fax at 479-444-1731.
