Washington County

is currently NOT under any outdoor burning alerts

HOWEVER

In the last hour we have had 3 different brush/grass fires in areas across Washington County. Currently, we are not under any fire flags or burn bans, but we do ask that if you have to burn, please use extreme caution. Conditions outside are dry and moderately windy, and ideal for the start of a grass/brush fire. If burning is not necessary it might be a good idea to hold off for some precipitation, which according to Tulsa weather might be sometime around mid-week. 

Again, we are not under any fire flags or burn bans but, please use caution if you intend to burn outdoors.

Burning trash in the State of Arkansas is illegal at all times.

If you are going to be doing any controlled burning (outside of city limits) in the county please call our office and let us know so that the fire department is not dispatched to your location.
