GOSHEN VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

SPECIAL ELECTION

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2010

 

The Board of Election Commissioners of Washington County, Arkansas, pursuant to Arkansas election law 7-5-202, does hereby proclaim that a special election for the

Goshen Volunteer Fire Department in Arkansas will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.

 

If you have questions on your eligibility to vote, please call the County Clerk’s office at 444-1711  prior to Election Day.

 

Polling sites for this Election

 

Early Voting:

 

County Clerk’s office beginning February 2, 2010.  Hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, including the Monday before the election.

 

Election Day Voting:

 

Polls on Election Day are open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The ballot and the election results, when available, may be viewed at www.co.washington.ar.us/electioncommission.

 

Absentee ballots will be opened, and processed beginning at 10:00 a.m.  in Room 145 of the Washington County Courthouse on Election Day.  The absentee and early ballots will be tabulated beginning at 7 p.m. in Room 115 of the Washington County Courthouse.

 

Handicapped persons having problems at the polling site ask supervisor for assistance or call 444-1766.
