The Board of Election Commissioners of Washington County, Arkansas, pursuant to Arkansas election law 7-5-202, does hereby proclaim that a General Election will be held in Washington County, Arkansas, on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.

 

To check your voter registration status and find your polling place go to https://www.voterview.ar-nova.org.  If your voter registration has changed and if you have questions concerning your eligibility to vote, or don’t have access to the internet, please call the County Clerk’s office at 444-1711 prior to Election Day.

Absentee ballots will be opened, and processed beginning at 10:00 a.m. on November 4 2008 in the Northeast Conference Room on the 5th floor of the Washington County Courthouse.  The absentee and early ballots will be tabulated beginning at 5 p.m. in the Quorum Court Room of the Washington County Courthouse.

 

Handicapped persons having problems at the polling site ask supervisor for assistance or call 444-1766.
